The Friday Talks usher in a new way of learning, discovering and sharing our knowledge.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cIn our last engagement survey, employees expressed the desire to develop their skills, learn each other\u2019s trades, and have more information about our group, its goals, challenges and strategic guidelines<\/em>,\u201d\u00a0explains Marion Besson, Talent Development manager (Lorette, France).<\/p>

The Friday Talks are a response to this desire, providing a unique sharing format!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

One Friday a month, everyone can take part in a meeting organized by the Haulotte Academy and led by committed volunteer employees.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Each meeting focuses on a theme relating to the group\u2019s strategic guidelines, open to a broader environment and the outlooks for the future (Digital Made in China, Digital simulation in design, Key Account management at the heart of sales performance, etc.) in an informal, interactive way. That is what makes the Friday Talks special!<\/p>

\u201cThe principle of the Friday Talk is that it is led by<\/u> employees for<\/u> employees<\/em><\/strong>, encouraging collaboration and participation to share skills, helping to make sense of things, fostering acquisition and developing a common culture,<\/em>\u201d continues Marion Besson.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Friday Talks came about through a local initiative, as Mathieu Parent, Digital Experience Manager (Lorette, France) explains. \u201cOriginally, we launched a digital acculturation program, but the Empowerment department realized the potential of the approach, which could be applied to much broader themes.\u201d <\/em><\/p>

After consulting the site\u2019s employees, over thirty-five themes were suggested, proof that there is a real desire to share among our teams! <\/strong><\/p>

Each Friday Talks session is unique and is based on an original, interactive format (challenges, quizzes, games, experiments, etc.). As Mathieu Parent says, \u201cWhen you experience emotions, you assimilate knowledge better and are more inclined to pass it on. This is why the Friday Talks differ from traditional methods<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Friday Talks are to be deployed beyond the walls of H3 and will add to the Haulotte Academy platform<\/strong>. In this way, employees have access to online documentation in French to investigate the subject addressed in more detail, and in the long term, translations and videos will make the content accessible to everyone in English. <\/strong><\/p>

\u201cWe have put together a Best Practices guide and we assist volunteers throughout their preparation, so that meetings are both appealing and have a strong impact. That is the added value of the Haulotte Academy,\u201d <\/em>concludes Marion Besson.<\/p>
